There is something truly special about a wedding weekend in Sarasota. The combination of waterfront views, coastal elegance, and a talented team of wedding professionals creates the perfect setting for a celebration that guests will remember for years to come.

This beautiful spring wedding was a wonderful example of everything we love about weddings on Florida's Gulf Coast. Planned by Karen Cerboni of Eventfull Weddings, every detail was thoughtfully curated to create an experience that felt both elegant and effortlessly welcoming.

Welcome to The Ritz-Carlton Beach Club

Upon arriving at The Ritz-Carlton Beach Club, guests stepped off the elevators and onto the terrace, where cocktail hour was already in full swing.

The terrace offered the perfect setting to begin the evening. Guests gathered around our Hunter Lounge Collection, Hunter cocktail tables, and custom bar while enjoying handcrafted cocktails and conversations overlooking the Gulf.

One of our favorite design elements for cocktail hour was the addition of our black scalloped umbrellas, which not only provided shade and comfort but also added a sophisticated touch that complemented the overall coastal aesthetic. Against the backdrop of swaying palms and ocean views, the space felt relaxed, refined, and distinctly Sarasota.

As servers circulated with passed hors d'oeuvres and cocktails flowed, guests enjoyed the opportunity to reconnect, mingle, and soak in the beauty of the evening before the reception began.

A Reception Filled with Natural Elegance

As guests entered the reception space, they were greeted by a design that was both grand and inviting.

The talented team at Designs by Schell transformed the room into a breathtaking garden-inspired celebration. Gorgeous floral installations filled both the tables and ceiling, creating layers of texture, color, and movement throughout the space. Greenery cascaded overhead while lush blooms brought warmth and romance to every corner of the room.

One of the most striking design features was the dramatic wall of flowing white drapery that framed the reception and added softness and dimension to the space. The draping helped create an intimate atmosphere while maintaining the elegance and scale of the venue.

Long feasting tables stretched through the room, encouraging conversation and connection among guests. The tables were beautifully appointed with our white Hollis Chairs featuring rattan backs and seats, paired with whitewashed rattan chargers that perfectly complemented the coastal-inspired design.

The combination of natural textures, soft linens, abundant florals, and warm candlelight created a reception that felt luxurious without sacrificing comfort—a balance that is often the hallmark of truly exceptional wedding design.

The Perfect Farewell

As the evening came to a close, the newlyweds made their grand exit in style.

Waiting outside was a beautiful classic getaway car provided by Wedding Cars of Sarasota. As guests gathered to send the couple off, it created the perfect ending to a day filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories.

From the historic ceremony in downtown Sarasota to cocktails overlooking the Gulf and a stunning reception at The Ritz-Carlton Beach Club, every part of the celebration reflected the beauty of Sarasota and the incredible team of professionals who brought the vision to life.
