Hillary & Bill's Colorful Crosley Estate Wedding
Some weddings are elegant. Some weddings are beautiful.
And then there are weddings like Hillary and Bill's, filled with so much joy, personality, and color that you can't help but smile from the moment you arrive.
Set against the stunning backdrop of the historic Crosley Estate on January 17, 2026, this celebration was a perfect reflection of the couple themselves. Planned by Lauren and her talented team at MDP Events, every detail was thoughtfully designed to create a day that felt vibrant, welcoming, and full of life.
A Ceremony Overlooking Sarasota Bay
One of the many reasons couples love the Crosley Estate is its breathtaking waterfront setting, and Hillary and Bill took full advantage of it.
Their ceremony took place near the seawall overlooking Sarasota Bay, where guests were greeted by panoramic water views and a colorful floral design that perfectly captured the spirit of the day. The talented team at Petals, Presents & Parties created gorgeous arrangements featuring pops of lavender, orange, ivory, and pink that felt as bright and joyful as the couple themselves.
Our Hunter Chairs lined the ceremony space, creating a beautiful setting for the couple's vows against the backdrop of Sarasota Bay.
Adding even more personality to the day was Charlie, the couple's adorable pup, who joined in for wedding photos and quickly became one of the stars of the celebration.
Color Around Every Corner
One of our favorite things about this wedding was how unapologetically colorful it was.
The bridesmaids wore beautiful dresses featuring vibrant oranges, pinks, patterns, and prints that brought incredible energy to the day. Rather than following traditional wedding color palettes, Hillary and Bill embraced colors that felt joyful, playful, and uniquely their own.
From the florals to the fashion, every detail reflected the warmth, happiness, and love shared by the couple and their families.
Cocktail Hour at the Mansion
Following the ceremony, guests gathered on the patio of the historic mansion for cocktail hour.
With views of Sarasota Bay on one side and the beautiful architecture of the Crosley Estate on the other, it was the perfect place to enjoy a cocktail and take in the surroundings.
Our Hollis Bar served as a focal point of the space, while high-top cocktail tables encouraged guests to mingle and enjoy the evening. One of the sweetest details was the inclusion of Charlie throughout the design, with custom touches featuring the beloved pup appearing on cocktail napkins and around the bar.
It was those personal details that made the celebration feel uniquely theirs.
A Sailcloth Tent Reception
As the sun began to set, guests made their way into the beautiful sailcloth tent provided by US Tent Rental for dinner and dancing.
Inside, the reception blended natural textures with colorful florals and elegant details. Linens from BBJ La Tavola layered beautifully with tabletop pieces from A Chair Affair, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for the evening ahead.
Stella Rose Events provided our Hollis Chairs, whitewashed chargers, Hunter Bars, and wood and white dance floor, helping create a cohesive design that complemented both the vibrant florals and the historic setting.
To complete the look, rattan lighting illuminated the patio while additional lighting throughout the tent created a warm glow that carried guests from dinner through the final dance.
A Celebration Full of Joy
Guests enjoyed an incredible dining experience prepared by Simply Gourmet before moving onto an evening of celebration led by Curate Entertainment. The dance floor remained full as family and friends gathered to celebrate Hillary and Bill and the beginning of their next chapter together.
What stood out most about this wedding wasn't a single design element or detail—it was the feeling.
Every part of the day was filled with energy, laughter, color, and love. From the waterfront ceremony and charming cocktail hour to the sailcloth tent reception beneath the glow of evening lighting, the celebration felt authentic to who they are as a couple.
The historic Crosley Estate provided the perfect backdrop, while an incredible team of vendors brought the vision to life. Thanks to the beautiful imagery captured by Autumn & Jendry and film by Eli Meyer Studio, these memories will be treasured for years to come.
